Student Devices

Buchanan High School offers a One-to-One (1:1) computer device environment to all students 9th through 12th grade. Students will be issued a new Chromebook starting with their 9th grade year. Graduating students will be given the opportunity to purchase their device upon successful completion of graduation requirements. Students are allowed an encouraged to take their devices home to support their studies.

Buchanan Middle School offers a One-to-One (1:1) computer device environment to all students 5th through 8th grade. Students will be issued a new Chromebook starting with their 5th grade year that will follow them through their 8th grade year. Grades 6 through 8 are allowed an encouraged to take their devices home to support their studies.

Grades 5 – 12 Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) agreement
All students receiving a device MUST have a signed AUP on file. You may view a sample showing the complete agreement language below.

Elementary Students
Elementary students in grades 1 through 4 receive Chromebooks as part of our 1:1 program. Students entering the 1st grade will receive a new Chromebook that will follow them through to the end of their 4th grade year.
