As you may have heard, there is a continuation of the COVID-19 Grant offered by the State for qualifying teachers.

If you feel you are eligible to receive the grant, please complete FORM 5741 and turn it into your building principal. Not all staff will be eligible. The staff member must meet the requirements for eligibility. We can be audited on this and we stress that if you don’t meet the requirements, please do not apply.
This grant is only for teachers that are responsible for teaching, GSRP, Head Start, Adult Education and Young Adult Special Education (ages 18-26). Unfortunately, support staff are not included in this grant.
**Eligible staff must return FORM 5741 to their building administrators by April 9, 2021. If an eligible staff member doesn’t turn their form in on time, they will be ineligible for grant funding.
Checks are estimated to be mailed on or about June 4, 2021 from the Michigan Dept. of Treasury.
