Good afternoon,
The state of Michigan has informed Buchanan Virtual Academy that during the COVID-19 pandemic, it does not support requiring virtual students to be brought into school solely for the purpose of state assessment. Therefore, we will offer our virtual students the opportunity to come into school to take the appropriate state summative assessments. However, your student is not required to come into school for the sole purpose of taking the assessments. We understand that safety is a top priority for families during this pandemic so there is no penalty if you and your child decide to opt out of state testing. Due to this new change we are altering the schedule, please find the updated testing schedule posted on our district website under the Buchanan Virtual School as well as listed below with each test starting at 8am, please arrive by 7:30am.
4/13 SAT until 12:30, accommodation test until 2:41
4/14 Workkeys until 11, accommodation test until 12:30
4/15 PSAT 8 until 10:35
4/20 PSAT 9 until 10:35
4/21 PSAT 10 until 10:55
4/22 MSTEP 11 until 10, accommodation test until 11
4/27 Make-up SAT until 12:30, accommodation test until 2:41
4/28 MSTEP 8 until 10:30
4/29 MSTEP 5 until 2
5/4 MSTEP 7 until 12
5/5 MSTEP 6 until 12
5/6 MSTEP 4 until 11:30
