NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING
ON PROPOSED 2020-2021 BUDGET
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that Buchanan Community Schools will hold a Public
Hearing on its proposed budget for the 2020-2021 school year on June 29, 2020, at 5:30 p.m.
Due to the State’s Stay Home, Stay Safe Executive Orders, this meeting will be held virtually,
using the following access information: meet.google.com/mom-hamk-yvs or by phone 224-
901-2555 (PIN: 860551141)
The Board may not adopt its proposed 2020-2021 budget until after a public hearing. A
copy of the proposed 2020-21 budget, including the proposed property tax millage rate, is
available for public inspection on the district web site www.buchananschools.com. Physical
copies of the proposed budget will be made available for inspection at the Buchanan Community
Schools Business Office at 401 W. Chicago Street, Buchanan, Michigan. Please call to schedule
a time as hours do vary with the Stay Home, Stay Safe Executive Order, 269-695-8400.
The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be
a subject of this hearing.
