MOTION by R. Writer, SECONDED BY Member K. Laesch the agenda for the Special Board Meeting of July 13, 2020 be adopted as written.

| RECOGNITION OF VISITORS | Mr. Wentworth welcomed all virtual attendees. |
| COMMUNITY DIALOGUE CITIZENS CONCERNS | Brittany Martin – concerns with who is running the athletic department and if athletics are planned to be cut. Mr. Wentworth referred her to the superintendent for further information and commented that athletics will continue.
Gary & Carol McKean – concerns with budget cuts for the upcoming school year and the district rushing into making cuts to personnel and programs. Mr. Wentworth addressed their concerns and Mrs. Laesch added that the future superintendent can always amend the budget.
William Martin – shared a list of concerns regarding how the district will be able to adequately protect, respond, and inform faculty and students regarding returning to school. Board members responded that there has been a committee formed to create a reopening plan along with guidance from the State and Berrien County Health Department. The plan has not been finalized yet and the reopening of school in the fall is still uncertain at this time. |
