Friday’s Michigan Supreme Court Ruling

Buck Families, On Friday the Michigan Supreme Court ruled that Governor Whitmer lacked the authority to extend or declare states of emergency in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic.  We are seeking further guidance from local, regional, and state authorities. BCS will continue to implement all Executive Orders that have been released to date, this includes the order that will start Monday October 5, 2020. For now, Buchanan Community Schools will continue to operate under the Board approved Return to School Plan that we have successfully implemented these past four weeks.  This plan is based upon guidance from the CDC and the Berrien County Health Department. K-4 Remote Learning Update

Please make sure you make your enrollment choice for K-4 Remote Learning or 5 through 12 Virtual by 4PM on Friday, August 21st. We still have openings for K1. As of now, Grades 2,3 and 4 do not have enough signed-up to do remote learning. For those who have signed up, thank you. We will be in touch the week of August 24 with more details.
