Buchanan Community Schools is starting a new program to recognize our outstanding staff members and volunteers who pledge and deliver their best efforts to serve our kids and our community in the academic, athletic, artistic and social programs that the District provides. A new feature on the district web site provides a link to nominate any staff member or volunteer in our schools who goes above and beyond to make Buchanan a great place to learn and a great place to work. This ongoing program welcomes nominations from our students, our parents, our staff members, and our community stakeholders to showcase the exceptional contributions made by BCS staff for the benefit of Buchanan’s children and this community.
If you know of someone in our district who represents the best of Buchanan, please help us by nominating an outstanding district staff member or volunteer who goes above and beyond to do great work for our kids and our community. All nominees will be informed that someone appreciates their efforts, and each month of the school year, one of the nominees will be selected for special recognition by our Board of Education and will receive a Certificate of Appreciation and a gift card prize.
