BUCHANAN – The Buchanan Promise, a place-based educational scholarship available only to eligible graduates of Buchanan High School starting with the Class of 2017, will hold an information meeting at 6 pm on Thursday, January 19, 2017, in the Buchanan High School Auditorium, 401 West Chicago Street. The meeting is primarily for members of the Class of 2017 and their parents or guardians, but any current Buchanan family or those interested in residing in Buchanan and attending Buchanan Schools may attend.
Eligible students will receive information about the scholarship, have their individual questions regarding the scholarship answered, meet with college and community representatives and have the opportunity to complete a brief application for the scholarship at this meeting.
