CALL TO ORDER

President, Dr. Harvey Burnett, opened the meeting at 6:00 pm

ADOPTION OF AGENDA

INFORMATION/REPORTS & NEW BUSINESS

Business Manager, Mrs. Tricia Lowery, reported that school bus inspections were completed and went well. We received one red tag throughout the entire process.

SUPERINTENDENT /DEPARTMENT REPORTS

Dr. Andrea van der Laan provided information that there were no bulling incidents reported and no news updates on copper theft. Dr. van der Laan also commented that she and Athletic Director, Mr. Lonnie Hoover had been to Stark Elementary building to continue in the cleaning and clearing it out process and provided update on paving project.

WARRANTS

MOTION by J. DeVlaminck, SECONDED by S. Tobler, The Board of Education approve the payment of payroll of $937,886.90 and the payment of expenditures of $230,784.55 for invoices from the General Fund and the payment of payroll of $17,485.16 and the payment of expenditures of $106.034.36 for invoices from the School Service Fund. ROLL CALL VOTE: R. Writer, J. DeVlaminck, C. Lee, S. Tobler & H. Burnett NAYS: None MOTION ADOPTED

ADOPTION OF THE 2016-17 FINAL BUDGET AMENDMENT & 2017-18 BUDGET APPROPRIATION RESOLUTION

MOTION BY Member J. DeVlaminck, SECONDED BY Member S. Tobler, The Buchanan Board of Education, in accordance with the General Appropriations act, accepts the Buchanan Community Schools budget for the fiscal year 2016-17 amended as presented and the 2017-18 Budget Appropriation. Said documents to be entered into the minutes of this meeting and to take immediate effect. ROLL CALL VOTE: R. Writer, J. DeVlaminck, C. Lee, S. Tobler & H. Burnett NAYS: None MOTION ADOPTED
